Juliana Schad
Licensed Massage Therapist Pressure: Moderate to FirmBiographical Info
Juliana is an Arizona state licensed massage therapist with a focus on therapeutic work for pain relief. She graduated from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in 2014, and has always been passionate about helping others heal and succeed, which is what drew her to the field.
She started her career at a local day spa, and quickly realized that working for a spa was not her niche. In 2017 her husband was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and had an extensive hospital stay, and in 2019 she became a mother. These two major life events caused her to put her career temporarily on-hold, but she continued to take CEU courses in different areas of her therapeutic interest the field. This kept her skill set fresh and drove her to continue working toward her passion of helping others.
Education is another passion of hers, especially educating clients about their bodies. She utilizes every teachable moment in her sessions to educate clients on what they can do at home to continue heading in the direction of healing, and how they can sustain the results they want from bodywork. Massage therapy is so much more than a luxury, it’s a tool to allow individuals to thrive in their physical, emotional and even mental health.
Currently, Juliana provides therapeutic massage with an emphasis in trigger point therapy, but has a goal of becoming Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy.
Juliana is a current Arizona State Licensed Massage Therapist, and an active member of the American Massage and Bodywork Professionals.
