Kaylin TallyLicensed Massage Therapist Pressure: Gentle to Moderate
Kaylin graduated from Arizona school of Massage Therapy in 2014 and has been practicing since. As a lifelong athlete in golf and softball, she has always been drawn to sports massage and the anatomy of the human body.
She started her career at Massage Envy, and quickly realized that working for a spa work was not her niche. She worked at OrangeTheory fitness where she became a huge fitness advocate and started to develop her private practice of treating athletes. She also trained for a fitness competition and learned firsthand what the human body is truly capable of with the right discipline and fuel, and how massage therapy is an integral part of self-care for athletes.
In addition to working with athletes, Kaylin also loves working with Moms who have delivered by Cesarean Section. In 2018 she experienced severe trauma when she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome, and ended up delivering her daughter at 26 weeks via emergency cesarean section. She was told that it was not recommended for her to have another child due to the trauma in her abdomen, and had a hysterectomy in early 2019. She became certified in scar tissue massage so she could work on herself for healing. Unbeknownst to her, it would be the best thing that ever happened to her. She loves sharing this work with other Mamas who have been through similar experiences.
Kaylin is also a massage therapy educator. She taught trigger point and cranial sacral therapy at Arizona School of Massage Therapy and Cortiva for a year and is dedicated to her own advanced training. She learned that she loves being able to educate clients on their bodies and share knowledge to help people live the best life possible.
She has pursued advanced Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage from the Klose Lymphedema Training to assist clients in post-surgical lymphatic drainage for those receiving plastic surgery and orthopedic procedures. She also has advanced training in Oncology Massage which allows her to assist patients undergoing cancer treatment, and helps them receive the bodywork they need in order to heal.
